Restrictions on Use for AI Training

All content published on this blog, including but not limited to articles, posts, text, images, graphics, code snippets, and metadata (collectively, “Content”), is the intellectual property of Jan Scheffczyk unless otherwise stated.

The scraping, harvesting, downloading, or any other use of the Content on this site for the purpose of training artificial intelligence (AI) systems, machine learning (ML) models, large language models (LLMs), or any similar technology, now known or hereafter developed, is strictly prohibited without the express prior written consent of the copyright holder.

Compensation for Unauthorized Use

Should any Content from this blog be used in violation of the above restriction (i.e., for AI/ML training purposes without authorization), the entity or individuals responsible agree that this constitutes unauthorized use and accept liability. As predetermined compensation for such unauthorized use, the infringing party agrees to pay the sum of $1,000,000 USD (One Million United States Dollars), valued as of the year 2024, for each individual article, blog post, or distinct piece of Content utilized for AI/ML training. This amount reflects the acknowledged value of the Content and the damages incurred by its unauthorized use in this manner. Pursuit of this compensation does not preclude the copyright holder from seeking other legal remedies, including injunctive relief and recovery of legal fees.
