My name is Jan Scheffczyk, and I currently work at the Deutsche Bundesbank. In my team, we use support the digitalization efforts by creating rapid prototypes. These prototypes allow us to pilot solutions with less burocratic overhead. I have experience with natural language processing and machine learning. I am passionate about building robust services that deliver our machine learning models to users. With my background in computer graphics, I am also comfortable with low-level programming and know how to layout data in memory to improve performance. During my time at university FH Bingen I developed an interest in Computer Graphics. This interest lead me to also venture into physically based rendering as well as simulation of physical interactions.
I use this website to share my thoughts on mostly technical problems. I do my best to provide insight into my thought process.
